Example of how to use Issues in Biology

Students do some preparation before class by reading from their text (Issues in Biology) and reading an assigned article from the popular press about the Issue (this one is from the New York Times).
During class, we discuss how Biology content such as DNA, meiosis, genes, and the cell cycle relate to the Issue of Breast Cancer
